Which vehicle category?
AP-66 · Aucalsa
- Ligeros - light vehicles
- Motorcycles, passenger cars and two-axle vans with four wheels; certain combinations without twin wheels on the trailer.
- Pesados 1 - heavy vehicles 1
- Typically two- or three-axle lorries and buses, and certain combinations with twin wheels.
- Pesados 2 - heavy vehicles 2
- Typically lorries and buses with four or more axles and heavier combinations under the operator's classification.
When towing a trailer, the class also depends on axle count and twin wheels.

Which routes have tolls?
Tolled routes include AP-9 in Galicia, AP-6 and the AP-51/AP-61 branches towards Ávila and Segovia, AP-71 León - Astorga and AP-7 Málaga - Guadiaro. The AP label alone is not enough to identify a toll road: parts of the network are now free. Official list and map of toll roads.
How to pay
AP-66 Aucalsa accepts cash, bank cards and VIA-T. Card users take a lane displaying a card symbol; VIA-T-only lanes require the electronic device. Cash machines accept notes up to 20 euros and give change. Aucalsa - payment methods.
