Before you travel
A one-day vignette covers a calendar day. If purchased for the current day, road use entitlement starts when the purchase is completed and does not apply retrospectively.
Which vehicle category?
- D1M - motorcycle
- For short-term motorcycle vignettes; annual motorcycle products use category D1.
- D1 - passenger car
- M1 or M1G up to 3.5 t and up to 7 seats, including the driver. Its trailer is included.
- D2 - other vehicles under the vignette system
- For example, N1/N1G vehicles regardless of seat count, and vehicles with 8 or more seats where they fall under the vignette system.
- U - trailer towed by D2
- A U vignette for the trailer is required in addition to the towing vehicle's D2 vignette.
For a van, D1 or D2 depends on the vehicle category and seat count in its registration document. For heavy vehicles, check whether HU-GO applies.

Official 2026 tariffsValidity, trailers and toll-road map
A daily vignette expires at midnight on the selected day, not 24 hours after purchase. A ten-day vignette covers the starting day and the following nine. Monthly validity ends on the corresponding date next month, or its last day if that date does not exist.
A D2 towing vehicle needs D2 plus U for its trailer. U can be registered to the trailer or the towing D2 vehicle; the latter allows different trailers to be towed. Official conditions · National and regional toll-road maps.
How to pay
Buy from the official online shop by bank card. Enter the registration country, plate, category and start date; confirmation arrives by email.
