Buying a pass and one-day access

Buy a pass through the official Jūrmala portal, at payment machines or through supported apps. Machines accept card and contactless payments.

A pass for the day of entry can be bought until 23:59. Entries are unlimited that day. You may remain in the zone after midnight without a new pass. Once you leave, re-entering on a different day requires a new pass.

Coverage and exemptions

The charge applies only to the area marked “Maksas zona”, not to all roads in Latvia. Fully electric cars are exempt under the published rules.

A goods van with a maximum permissible mass above 3,000 kg requires a vignette on designated national roads. For goods vehicle combinations, the threshold is above 3,500 kg. Roads and tariffs are listed in the official road charging system.
